The Unfortunate Power Of Spam E-Mail?

It's another one of those spam e-mails that everyone seems to be passing along. What I want to know is if I'm overreacting or if I am drawing a legit connection between what could be fictional propaganda and the over all mood of our country.

I looked and looked and I honestly can't find out whether this e-mail is true or not. However, personally I am leaning towards it being untrue as Budweiser and a few other brands mentioned had nothing on it that I could find.

My problem with this e-mail is that it seems most people believe it; when almost 90% of these e-mails are hoaxes or inaccurate.

My next problem is that it feeds the whole line of thinking that any dark colored Muslim "looking" individual might feel the same way as the men who owned the convenient store.

That simply is not true, in all my dealings and friendships with people who actually are Muslim, they morned 9-11 because it goes against the true Muslim religion.

I'm not saying there are not exceptions, I'm just saying that common sense and experience leads me to believe that people move to this country for a reason. That reason usually has a great deal to do with freedom. Why then is it so easy for so many people to believe that even though people live here for freedom and many other benefits the United States offer, that they would want this country to fall and loose their home and freedom?

I have heard it said many, many times, this country is a melting pot. The United States of America is made up of a little bit of everything. Just like a good stew. So when do they stop being "they" and start being "we"? And when do stupid e-mails that spread this prejudice cease?

When do we accept our variety and in turn start focusing on building each other up?

This is TRUE!

How Budweiser handled those who laughed at those
who died on the 11th of September, 2001...

in a little town north of Bakersfield , California

when they found out about the tragic events
in New York , Pennsylvania , and the Pentagon.
On September 11th.

A Budweiser employee was making a delivery
to a convenience store in a California town
named McFarland.

He knew of the tragedy that had occurred
in New York when he entered the business
to find the two Arabs, who owned the business, whooping and hollering to show their approval
and support of this treacherous attack.

The Budweiser employee went to his truck,

called his boss and told him
of the very upsetting event!

He didn't feel he could be in that store with those
horrible people. His boss asked him,
'Do you think you could go in there long enough
to pull every Budweiser product and item
our beverage company sells there?

We'll never deliver to them again.'
The employee walked in,
proceeded to pull every single product his
beverage company provided and left
with an incredible grin on his face.

He told them never to bother to call for
a delivery again.

Budweiser happens to be the beer of choice
for that community.

handled this situation. And Now

The Rest Of The Story:

It seems that the Bud driver and the Pepsi man
are neighbors. Bud called Pepsi and told him.
Pepsi called his boss who told him to
pull all Pepsi products as well!!!
That would include Frito Lay, etc.

Furthermore, word spread and
all vendors followed suit! At last report,
the store was closed indefinitely.

Hello my friends.

Well, you're not actually my friends, but I hope you soon will be.

I'm about to embark on this writing adventure and heavens knows, when we embark on any adventure we need a friend.

Why is this an adventure? Simply put, because I am calling it one! For good reason mind you. You see, I see so many gosh darn amazing blogs out there, but they all seem to be about only one or two things. I want this blog to be about many things. Everything to be frank. I plan on writing about everything from why every woman on this planet seems to think she needs to loose a dress size to Aristotle's philosophies.

These sound like grand plans don't they? I know, hence the word "adventure". I can't do it without some input though. If you happen by, throw a topic my way. Trust me, I'll want to write about it. Weather for the sake of just discussing the topic, picking it apart, learning something new by seeing a different point of view or what have you, we'll discuss it!

I hope that this blog can evolve into a collage of amazing topics and learning's, as well as a sandbox we all feel like digging into.
